Namibia–UK Biofertiliser Knowledge Exchange Exercise 26-30 October 2026 | Windhoek, Namibia

26 October 2026
namibia-etosha

This five-day international workshop will bring together researchers, students, and agricultural stakeholders to explore how microbiome science can support sustainable crop production in arid environments. Delivered through a collaboration between Imperial College London, Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), University of Namibia (UNAM), and CABI, the programme will combine research presentations, practical training, field activities, poster discussions, and grant-writing workshops.

The workshop aims to strengthen research capacity, share expertise in microbiome methods and data analysis, and foster long-term collaborations between UK and Namibian partners. Building on the DigiMic and Microbiome Revolution programmes, participants will explore innovative approaches to microbial biofertilisers and develop opportunities for future joint research, postgraduate supervision, and funding applications.
